Astur Sarkisyan, PT
À propos de Astur
Dans ses motsIn 2010, Astur graduated from the Queen’s University Master of Science in Physical Therapy program. Straight out of the gate, he decided to focus his practice on orthopaedic injuries and dysfunction. Clinically, his special interests include pre and post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, chronic age-related degenerative conditions (i.e. osteoarthritis), repetitive stress injuries and jaw (TMJ) dysfunction.
Astur continuously seeks out the most up-to-date literature to ensure evidence-based practice is being upheld. It is his mandate to develop individualized treatment programs, combining manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, activity modification, dry needling and education with the intent to fulfill each patient’s personal therapeutic goals.
During his leisure time, Astur enjoys cooking food from around the globe which is inspired by his extensive travels. He is committed to achieving lifelong wellness by exercising on a regular basis with a particular focus on weight training. He is a firm believer that movement is medicine!
