About Autumn
Autumn offers individual counselling to youth and adults (12+) experiencing difficulties with their mental health related to interpersonal challenges, self-esteem/self-confidence, stress, anxiety, emotional regulation, depression, and substance use and concurrent disorders. Autumn is interested in helping clients reach their goals, increase self-awareness, recognize their strengths and resilience to overcome their challenges, and to develop coping skills that will help facilitate positive change and a sense of empowerment in their wellness journey.
Autumn is committed to creating a supportive, non-judgemental, empathetic, compassionate and safe space for all clients (12+). Autimn supports clients by taking a collaborative approach to treatment to ensure each client’s individual experiences, goals and needs are reflected in their treatment plan. Autumn takes an integrated approach to treatment that incorporates evidence-based tools, biopsychosocial modalities, client-centred approaches and trauma-informed care practices. Therapeutic modalities she draws from are strength-based therapies, solution-focused brief therapies (SFBT) and cognitive-behavioural therapies (CBT)..
Autumn is a member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA) and registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) as a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying). I am working under the supervision of Alice Lurie (RP). Autumn offers online and in-person therapy
