Birthe is passionate about helping clients find relief from pain and improve their overall quality of life. With years of training and experience in both Massage Therapy and Acupuncture, she brings a deep understanding of how the body works and how to support its natural ability to heal.
Birthe has a special focus on Women’s Health, offering care for menstrual pain, irregular cycles, PMS, fertility support, and pre- and postnatal care. She also provides support for women navigating perimenopause and menopause, helping to ease symptoms such as sleep disturbances, mood changes, hot flashes, and fatigue. Birthe believes women deserve to feel balanced and supported through every stage of life — and that they do not need to suffer through hormonal transitions.
In addition to women’s health, Birthe works extensively with clients managing acute and chronic pain conditions, musculoskeletal issues, and stress-related tension. She also enjoys supporting the aging population, helping seniors maintain mobility, comfort, and independence — something close to her heart as she often treats her own family members.
Birthe’s approach is gentle, compassionate, and holistic, tailoring each treatment to meet the unique needs of her clients in a safe and relaxing environment.

Child Health & Sports Massage
« As a child's body grows, bones, muscles, tendons and ligaments are still developing. Injury can occur from falls, running, or sports. Having your child come for regular massage treatments can be important in preventing or treating injuries.
Note: most children (depending on age) won’t need more than 30-45 minutes treatment sessions and a parent or guardian must be present during treatment. A child is under the age of 16. »2 options

Dynamic Cupping Massage (non-RMT)
« Dynamic Cupping uses a hand operated suction pump or silicone cups to better control the amount of suction and avoid using fire to depressurize the cups. During a Dynamic Cupping treatment, the cups are not left static long enough to cause bruising on the client. The cups are moved by the therapist to create a stretch to the muscles and connective tissues. This form of cupping is typically used to treat fascia, the connective webbing surrounding all tissues and muscles. Dynamic Cupping therapists follow the lines of fascia running throughout the body in order to realign and restructure the tissue. If you’re having issues with knots or troubled areas, it might be best to try static cupping in that area.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage Massage (non-RMT)
« The lymphatic system clears away infection and keeps your body's fluids in balance. If it's not working properly, fluid builds in your tissues and causes swelling, called lymphedema. Other lymphatic system problems can include infections, blockages, cancer, pregnancy and hypertension.
Unlike traditional massage that utilizes downward pressure into the tissues, lymphatic drainage is very light and works on the lymphatic system that is directly below the skin. Your therapist will "pump" the fluids to their proper waste channels to be excreted and digested by the body.

« Massage during pregnancy can be very beneficial addition to aid in self-care by relieving discomfort from hormonal, skeletal and circulatory changes in the body during pregnancy. Benefits include reducing anxiety, decreasing stress, relieve muscle and joint pain or tension, mood regulation, reduce swelling/edema, reduce sciatic nerve pain, improve sleep quality and improve labour outcomes.
Please ensure you consult with your doctor before getting a massage, especially in the first trimester due to risk of miscarriage.

« Therapeutic/Deep Tissue Massage can effectively decrease pain and relieve muscle tightness by releasing any chronic patterns of muscle tension in the body. This is done starting with first treating superficial muscles and then increasing pressure (to client comfort level) to access the deeper tissues. This type of massage is used to break down myofascial adhesions and increasing circulation to the affected tissues. It can also help speed up the healing process of tendinitis, muscle strains and ligament sprains and improving scar tissue pliability.
