About Brandon
Brandon Schiafone is a Registered Social Worker who brings empathy, warmth, clarity, and respect to every session. Known for his calm, inviting presence, he creates a therapeutic environment where clients can feel deeply seen and genuinely understood. Guided by a client-first philosophy, he believes healing begins with honesty, grows through collaboration, and unfolds as we find the courage to write the next chapter of our stories with intention.
With a Master of Social Work from the University of Toronto, Brandon weaves together Emotion-Focused Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy within a trauma-informed, adaptive framework. He specializes in supporting individuals facing debilitating self-doubt, anxiety, and depression, as well as couples recovering from infidelity, loss of connection, waning intimacy, or crumbling stability. His private practice experience, ongoing professional development, and supervisory roles have shaped his identity as a therapist who places authenticity and creative problem-solving at the center of navigating life’s challenges.
Brandon’s background spans crisis intervention, youth programming, community advocacy, and accessibility initiatives - insight deepened by his lived experience as a blind individual. This perspective enriches his attunement to the resilience, vulnerability, and complexity clients carry. Whether working with individuals exploring their identity, families rebuilding after hardship, or couples seeking reconnection, he offers patience, presence, and a steady belief in each person’s capacity to grow.
Outside the office, Brandon finds grounding in humour. He often turns to the world of stand-up comedy, both as an audience member and occasional performer, embracing the idea that healing and joy can coexist.
