About Breanna
There are times in life when we can feel overwhelmed, disconnected, uncertain, or emotionally exhausted. Reaching out for support can feel vulnerable, but it can also be the beginning of healing, self-discovery, and meaningful change. I strive to create a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where you feel genuinely heard, supported, and empowered to explore your experiences at your own pace.
As a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC), I work from a person-centred and collaborative approach, recognizing that every individual’s story and needs are unique. My goal is to walk alongside you in a way that feels supportive, respectful, and authentic to who you are.
I have over eight years of experience working in mental health and community care settings, including mental health stabilization, community mental health and substance use services, and family support. I support clients experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, substance use challenges, relationship changes, parenting stress, and neurodiversity, including Autism and ADHD.
I have a particular passion for supporting transgender and gender-diverse individuals, parents and caregivers, and those navigating terminal illness, chronic illness, or life-altering diagnoses. I also hold certification in play therapy, which supports my work with children, youth, and families in creating safe and developmentally supportive spaces for healing and emotional expression.
Through my own experiences with anxiety and supporting loved ones through mental health challenges, I have developed a deep appreciation for the courage it takes to seek support. I understand the value of having a space where you can feel accepted without judgment, gain perspective, and reconnect with your strengths and resilience.
I completed my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at the University of British Columbia Okanagan and my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology through Yorkville University. I am registered with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC) as a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC).
