À propos de Bria
Dans ses motsHi, I’m Bria! I’m a registered acupuncturist and owner of Rooted Rose Community Acupuncture.
I studied Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine at the Kootenay Columbia College in Nelson, BC, and am currently undergoing advanced training in Sports Medicine Acupuncture through AcuSport Education. In my practice, I often help patients struggling with chronic pain, postural imbalances and acute injuries.
Together, we can address challenges such as sprains, referred pain, muscle tension, nerve impingement, headache, and limited range of motion. My goal here is to work alongside you to address the root cause of your concerns, and improve your symptoms and overall well-being.
I’m also passionate about using acupuncture for nervous system regulation. It can be a really powerful and fast-acting tool for those dealing with from anxiety, depression and PTSD. My approach here is to create a compassionate and supportive environment where you can find relief and strengthen your mental and emotional health.
I am committed to providing a safe and welcoming space where all bodies can heal and thrive. I believe that health can be achieved at all sizes, and I strive to ensure that this is an inclusive and body-neutral environment.
If you have any questions or need any special accommodations, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I look forward to working with you and helping you acheive your goals.

2SLGBTQIA+ Community Acupuncture Program
« This program is reserved for self-identified 2SLGBTQIA+ community members. Sessions are free, with four advance sign-ups required—no drop-ins please. »Targeted CareFollow-up
« Best for addressing one or two specific areas of concern. **Please Note**: A 60 minute session typically isn’t long enough for a double-sided treatment (75 minute appointments are recommended for treatment of hip, low back or shoulder injuries). »Extended CareFollow-up
« Provides extra time to treat multiple areas and work thoroughly on complex issues. This treatment length allows for single or double-sided treatments. Ideal for ongoing care especially if you’d like time for a deeper treatment without feeling rushed. »Reassessment (6+ months)
« For returning patients who have not been in for 6 months or more. Includes time for a brief reassessment to update treatment focus and health history. »Comprehensive CareFollow-up
« Allows for in-depth, full body treatments, including thorough work on both sides of the body. Recommended for complex or long-standing issues, or simply if you prefer a more spacious treatment. »Acupuncture TreatmentNew patient
« Strongly recommend that when booking your initial assessment, you also book at least two follow-up appointments. For acute injuries, book your follow-ups one week apart; for chronic conditions, book every two weeks. This helps ensure timely care and gives you the best chance of securing appointment times that work for you. »Community Acupuncture Treatment (Sliding Scale)New patient
« 45 to 60 minutes - Pay what you can: $45 to $75.
Your first visit includes a brief intake and full acupuncture treatment in a calming group setting of up to 4 patients. You'll receive individualized care in this quiet shared space, designed to support deep rest and healing.
Please note: All treatments are done fully clothed - please wear loose fitting clothing that allows access to lower legs and arms. (Tight jeans are typically not ideal.) »Return Community Acupuncture Treatment (Sliding Scale)Follow-up
