Brittany graduated from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and continued her education at the University of Alberta where she completed her Master of Science in Physiotherapy. Brittany is certified in Level 3 Manual Therapy, Functional Dry Needling, Anatomical Acupuncture, and TMJ/TMD Management. Brittany brings her enthusiasm for learning to the team and a passion for helping people recover and stay active. She believes in an educational approach to recovery in conjunction with manual therapy to help her patients avoid future problems. She enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, camping and baking. Brittany is excited to be part of the team at Airdrie Physiotherapy & Massage where patients come first!

« MVA (motor vehicle accident) assessments are for anyone who's been involved in a car accident in Alberta within 2 weeks of the date of injury. Our physiotherapist will take a detailed history and perform an in depth analysis of your injury. The initial assessment takes approximately 60 minutes and includes a short treatment. They will fill out the proper paperwork that your auto insurance requires. Please note in notes section of your booking if your injury is the result of a car accident.. »

We believe in the value of education and quality care and we have adjusted our treatment times to reflect that. « Shockwave Therapy (acoustic pressure wave, not electric shock), is a safe, and effective treatment approach for a wide range of medical conditions. It stimulates healing & breaks down scar tissue & is very effective for those chronic issues like tendonitis, bursitis, plantar fasciitis etc. We combine our shockwave treatment with a manual therapy physiotherapy treatment for maximum effectiveness and resolve the biomechanical issues that caused the injury to prevent it from returning. “I have been working with Brittany since January 2017 after 2 ACL surgeries. Like any pfhysio after a surgery it can be difficult and uncomfortable. Brittany made the experience as fun and positive as possible and managed to make me laugh during the difficult process. And best of all I saw great results and am healing well! The office staff is also very friendly and helpful, especially Janessa. I hope I do not need to go back but if I do have another injury it's definitely the best pace in Airdrie ... and I have tried a few before finding the right team to get me back to work and my sports!”Lire la suiteRéduire
