Byoungju (Jay) Jun
À propos de Byoungju
Dans ses motsJay began practicing massage therapy after experiencing repeated sports injuries and becoming deeply curious about how the body recovers. His learning has always been hands-on: He studies techniques not only through formal training but also by receiving treatments from practitioners in Thailand, Vietnam, Korea, and other regions where traditional methods are still practiced skillfully. He brings forward only what has proven effective through my own experience.
Since graduating from the Registered Massage Therapy program at Vancouver Career College in 2019, He has worked with athletes, office workers, and individuals managing chronic or stress-related pain. His approach balances therapeutic outcomes with the nervous system’s need for relaxation. Techniques such as hot stone integration, intraoral and buccal work for TMJ, lymphatic-focused facial therapy, Swedish, and deep tissue are applied with intention rather than routine.
Each session is approached as both treatment and study. He believes meaningful change comes from precision, consistency, and patient education — not force. Outside of the clinic, He continues to learn from global methods of manual therapy and maintains a personal interest in wellness, travel, sports, and caring for a seawater aquarium. His goal is straightforward: reduce pain, restore function, and help people return to the activities that matter to them.

« Level 2 Applied Vodder’s MLD specifically targets non-pathological, acute, and orthopedic conditions—bridging the gap between basic healthy-tissue drainage (Level 1) and full-blown lymphedema management (Level 3/CDT).
Key Scope of Level 2 Applied Vodder MLD:
Post-Surgical & Cosmetic Recovery: Rapidly clears traumatic edema, reduces bruising, and prevents fibrotic scar tissue formation after procedures like liposuction, abdominoplasty, or joint replacements.
Acute Traumatic Injuries: Sprains, strains, whiplash, and hematomas benefit immediately by routing inflammatory fluid away from injured sites to reduce pain pressure.
ENT & Chronic Conditions: Applies specialized protocols (including intra-oral and facial work) for chronic sinusitis, tinnitus, and TMJ dysfunction.
Dermatological & Burns: Sub-acute burns, rosacea, acne, and sluggish wounds clear faster as local metabolic waste is flushed and microcirculation improves.
It allows practitioners to work safely around acute tissue damage by rerouting fluid along alternate anatomical watersheds when primary pathways are disrupted. »3 optionsYOUTH SPORT ENHANCE / RECOVERY RMT
