After graduating from York University with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology (the study of human movement), Caitlyn pursued an education in Massage Therapy from Sutherland-Chan teaching school in Toronto Ontario.
While completing her diploma, Caitlyn was able to work with patients in specialized clinics including sports massage, central nervous system conditions, high-risk pregnancy as well as several other presentations.
Her well-rounded approach to rehabilitation involves not only treatment on the table, but also patient education, postural awareness techniques and home-care as well.
Caitlyn’s areas of practice include:
- swedish massage
- trigger point release
- myofascial release
- pregnancy massage (pre & post natal focus)
Caitlyn relocated to Nanaimo from Mississauga, Ontario in 2015, and is enjoying all the Island has to offer. She maintains an active lifestyle and enjoys running, volleyball, squash, hiking and long walks with her dogs.
