Group Therapy Emotion Regulation Ages 7-10New patient
« For children ages 7-10 years.
Feelings & Flow is a six-week experiential program designed to help children build emotional awareness, body connection, and mindfulness through play, movement, and creativity. Co-facilitated by a Licensed Counselling Therapist and a Somatic Practitioner & Children’s Yoga Instructor, each session combines emotional learning, yoga, breathwork, art, and storytelling to support children in understanding and expressing their feelings in healthy, embodied ways.
Through imaginative stories, games, and mindful movement, children learn to identify and name emotions, recognize how feelings show up in their bodies, and use practical tools to calm, focus, and self-regulate. Weekly themes—such as All Feelings Are Okay, Listening to My Body, Finding My Calm, and We Feel Together—help children explore emotions as natural experiences that can be felt, expressed, and released safely.
Sessions are 90 minutes long and limited to small groups of up to 10 children, ensuring personalized attention and connection. Each class follows a gentle rhythm of check-in, movement and creative exploration, group reflection, and grounding to close.
By the end of the program, children will have developed a deeper understanding of their emotions, learned how to use breath and movement to self-soothe, built empathy for others, and created their own personalized “Feelings Toolkit” to support them beyond the group.
**Parents/Guardians must contact us directly to book. Both the child and parent are required to complete an intake session prior to scheduling any appointments. »CO-PARENTING Counselling
