About Carla
Carla is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with a Master's degree in Counselling Psychology. She also holds a Bachelor of Education degree, which informs her work with children, youth, adolescents, adults, parents, families, and couples.
Carla supports clients navigating anxiety, stress, depression and mood-related challenges, trauma and PTSD, grief and loss, self-esteem, identity development, life transitions, relationship concerns, and emotional regulation. Her work includes support for attachment and developmental trauma, as well as the changes that can come with career shifts, separation, parenthood, and family stress.
Her therapeutic approach is grounded in client-centred practice. Carla sees therapy as a collaborative process where the client's voice, pace, and lived experience remain at the forefront. She works to create a space that feels safe, attuned, and empowering, offering support, curiosity, and gentle guidance rather than judgment.
Beyond her clinical work, Carla enjoys spending time outdoors and connecting with nature. She values being present with her children and noticing how they experience the world, and she supports her own well-being through regular movement, whole foods, and mindful practices.
