À propos de Carmen
Dans ses motsCarmen completed her Bachelor of Physical Therapy degree at the University of Saskatchewan in 2002, but her quest for knowledge did not end there. Her love of learning has led her to complete certifications in Spinal Manipulation, Gunn IMS, and Anatomical Acupuncture. She has taken additional courses in pelvic health and running injuries.
In 2014 Carmen began training in the ConnectTherapy™️ (LJ Lee) and The
Thoracic Ring Approach™️ (LJ Lee) assessment and treatment models developed by Dr LJ Lee. Do you need to say LJ Lee 3 times? These models provide a framework that is used to assess and treat the whole person, helping Carmen to locate the driving causes of pain and dysfunction that are specific to her patient’s goals. Carmen’s passion for and skill with these models resulted in an invitation to be a junior teaching assistant for these courses. These models, in conjunction with her previous training, have given Carmen a unique skill set that enables her to provide truly personalized care. Although originally from Saskatchewan she has also worked in British Columbia and Alberta. Carmen enjoys spending time outdoors with her family hiking and camping. She loves to dance and has learned a variety of Latin and ballroom styles, but her greatest affection is for West Coast Swing.
