Professional Journey
Cece holds a master’s in social work (MSW) with a Clinical specialization from the University of British Columbia. A Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) degree, focusing on Indigenous Social Work Practice and Child Welfare, was jointly offered by Thompson Rivers University and Nicola Valley Institute of Technology (NVIT), an Indigenous public post-secondary institute in British Columbia. She also holds a B.A in Psychology/Sociology from Brandon University.
With experience working with Indigenous communities and holding key roles in mental health counseling and clinical supervision, Cece integrates motivational interviewing and strengths-based counseling to offer individualized care.
