From an early age, Cesar was involved in competitive sports, and from personal experience he gained understanding on how injuries and their treatment can impact movement and performance. This led to a career in healthcare. Now as a therapist, Cesar utilizes an individualized approach to treat patients, developing treatment plans focused on their specific needs and goals, would it be restoring or improving movement, pain management, return to activity, improving performance or just dealing with everyday stress.
In his practice, Cesar assesses and treats physical dysfunction and pain of the soft tissue and joints mostly by hands-on techniques and modalities. Assessment and treatment can include orthopedic and neurological testing, soft tissue manipulation, contemporary medical acupuncture, remedial exercise and patient education programs.
Cesar has vast experience working with professional and recreational athletes as well as patients from all walks of life. Currently he works with the National Ballet of Canada and the World Association of Kickboxing Organizations Canada.
After obtaining his Massage Therapy diploma, Cesar completed an Honours BA in Kinesiology and Health Sciences with a Certificate in Athletic Therapy at York University. He also completed the McMaster University’s Contemporary Medical Acupuncture Certification and is currently finishing an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner Diploma program. Cesar is a member of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario, the Canadian Athletic Therapists Association and sits on the Board of the Ontario Athletic Therapist Association.
When not helping patients achieving their goals or taking continued education courses, Cesar spends time with his family and dogs, going to the gym and watching Ballet shows.
