About Chandervir
Chandervir Singh Rana is a Registered Physiotherapist with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree from the University of Kurukshetra, India in 2009, and a Post Baccalaureate Certificate in Bridging to Canadian Physical Therapy Practice, Rehabilitation Medicine from the University of Alberta in 2022. He has successfully completed the globally recognized advanced onsite course for Vestibular Rehabilitation: A Competency-Based Course- Duke University (March 2025) held at Emory Campus, Atlanta, Georgia, USA.
Having relocated to Canada in 2015, he began his employment with CBI Health in 2018. With over a decade of experience in the healthcare industry, he has worked in diverse settings encompassing orthopaedic surgeries, sports medicine, cardiovascular surgical rehabilitation, clinical research, Long covid rehabilitation, treatment of neurological conditions, mild traumatic brain injuries( concussions and vestibular rehabilitation), and musculoskeletal impairments.
Chandervir has gained valuable expertise at Fortis Hospital in Mohali, Punjab, India, an internationally accredited hospital by the Joint Commission International, as well as at CBI Health Ltd. Calgary,Alberta. He has served in various capacities, including as an Assistant Supervisor Physiotherapist, Clinical research fellow, and Community Rehabilitation Practitioner. In addition to his other professional experiences, he has also worked as a medical coordinator for National Geographic Channel, India on the show “Mission Arctic”.
Chandervir has a keen interest in the management of vestibular disorders, concussion rehabilitation and Long Covid rehabilitation. He is dedicated to personal development and self-learning, reflecting his passion for continuous improvement in his field.
