About Chelsea
Chelsea is a Registered Social Worker with extensive experience supporting children, teens, adults, and families through a wide range of mental health challenges. Her background includes community mental health, crisis intervention, primary health care, addictions, and child and family services, giving her the experience to support clients through anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, ADHD, autism, emotional regulation, parenting concerns, life transitions, and other complex challenges. Chelsea is also approved on the Registry of Autism Service Providers.
Chelsea's approach is person-centred, trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming, and strengths-based. She creates a warm, welcoming, and collaborative environment where clients feel safe exploring their experiences, building on their strengths, and working toward meaningful change. Drawing from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and mindfulness-based practices, she tailors therapy to each client's unique needs and goals.
Chelsea works with children, teens, young adults, adults, parents, and families, offering both individual and family counselling. She believes therapy is a collaborative process and is passionate about helping clients build resilience, develop practical coping strategies, and move toward greater confidence and well-being.
Outside of work, Chelsea loves spending time with her husband and daughter, doing puzzles, baking, and reading books!
