About Cheryl
With over a decade of experience, Cheryl offers therapy for personal growth, anxiety, phobias, stress, insomnia, significant grief/loss, relationships, self-esteem, & many other issues. She operates from a trauma-informed lens, using CBT, Narrative, Solution-Focused, Mindfulness, DBT, Gottman, & faith-based approaches.
Cheryl's practice provides a safe and professional space to reflect, heal, and rediscover hope. She combines strong clinical training, university teaching experience, and lived experience to support clients with anxiety, stress, grief, self-worth, life transitions, insomnia, and caregiver challenges.
Her Education includes the following:
Master of Social Work from University of Windsor, Bachelor of Social Work – King’s University College, Western University.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) Certificate – Wilfrid Laurier University
Mindfulness-Based and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (MBCT / DBT) training

Cheryl has also been active in the worlds of research, speaking & advocacy on silent stroke, acquired brain injury, and their impact on mental health
