Cheyanne is an individual and couple’s therapist who utilizes a person-centered approach to provide warm and empathetic counselling services. Cheyanne works collaboratively with her clients to develops goals and create a therapeutic plan that is uniquely catered to the individual’s lifestyle. She has completed her Master of Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University and during her training has worked on various issues with clients including, anxiety, depression, cultural issues, relational issues, ADHD, and many more. Cheyanne has experience using cognitive behavioral therapy, emotionally focused therapy, the Gottman method, acceptance and commitment therapy, mindfulness-based approaches, and dialectical behavioral therapy.
Her passion for counselling stems from her own experience dealing with anxiety, depression, and ADHD which motivates her to provide a safe, judgment free space in which clients are able to share their thoughts and experiences.
Outside work Cheyanne enjoys hiking, reading, travelling, and yoga, and is always looking for good book suggestions.
