À propos de Christina
Dans ses motsChristina, a Registered Social Worker (RSW), holds a BA in Psychology and a MA in Clinical Social Work. With over 6 years of dedicated experience working with children and youth, she brings a deep understanding of their needs to her role. Christina’s passion for making a positive impact on young lives is why she has chosen to pursue clinical social work. Her experiences have encompassed roles in coaching sports, youth after-school programs, and working with youth experiencing complex substance use and mental health adversities.
Christina’s practice commitment is to create a safe and nurturing environment for children and youth to thrive in. She firmly believes that fostering such an environment is essential for supporting their emotional and psychological growth. Using a child-centred and person-centred approach allows Christina to tailor her interactions to each individual’s unique needs. This approach resonates deeply with her as it empowers individuals to be active participants in their own healing journey.
Christina is particularly drawn to expressive therapies, such as play and art therapy. She recognizes the power of these creative mediums in allowing individuals to communicate complex emotions and experiences that might otherwise be challenging to express verbally. These methods offer a unique opportunity for individuals to explore their thoughts and feelings in a safe and non-judgmental space.
Outside of the professional environment, Christina enjoys spending time in nature, playing beach volleyball, skiing and snowboarding, travelling, and spending time with friends and family.

Child & Youth Counselling - Parent SessionNew patient
« When a child begins counselling, it’s important to first meet with the parent or guardian on their own. This full, paid session gives you space to share your concerns, your child’s history, and what you’re hoping support will look like.
During this appointment, we’ll review consent, gather important background information, and begin outlining a plan tailored to your child’s needs. Please note: This first session is for parent(s)/guardian(s) only. Your child will attend future sessions once the initial plan is in place.
*Note - This appointment is booked under parent's name. »3 optionsFree ConsultationNew patient
