Dans ses motsChris Lam completed his Masters of Physiotherapy at the University of Toronto in 2017. He earned his Bachelor of Science with a specialization in Kinesiology from the University of Western Ontario in 2015, where he was a member of the Western Varsity Volleyball team and served as a student athletic therapist for the Western Varsity Football team. His experience as both an athlete and trainer has provided him with firsthand insight into the physical and mental demands of sport, as well as the rehabilitation process required to return to peak performance.
Chris enjoys working with a wide variety of populations, from weekend warrior injuries to elite athletes returning to sport. He combines his understanding of sport-specific movement with individualized rehabilitation plans. His treatment approach emphasizes hands-on manual therapy and dry needling, alongside targeted exercise prescription and movement optimization to not only address current injuries but also reduce the risk of future setbacks. He emphasizes the importance of teamwork and discipline to reach the common goal of recovery together.
Chris has completed additional certifications in Acupuncture, Integrated Dry Needling, Blood Flow Restriction Therapy, McKenzie Method, and Level 3 of the Advanced Integrated Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Program. He is committed to ongoing professional development to ensure his patients receive the most up to date, evidence-informed, highest quality care.
Outside of the clinic, you’ll likely find Chris on the golf course or exploring new restaurants across the city. He is an avid fan of the Toronto Raptors and will happily discuss all news regarding fantasy football or basketball.
