About Colette
With over 10 years of post-secondary education, and nearly 2 decades of classroom teaching experience, Colette brings a unique blend of expertise and insight to her psychotherapy work. Colette’s dual roles as a clinician and educator informs her thoughtful, compassionate, and collaborative approach to therapy. Clients benefit from a deep understanding of both the theory and practice of mental health care, as well as Colette’s continued engagement with current research and clinical training. Furthermore, her teaching background gives Colette a unique perspective on the pressures faced by students, educators, and families alike.
As a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), Colette specializes in helping youth, adolescents, adults, and couples navigate challenges related to anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, relationships, and life transitions. Her primary areas of focus include perinatal support, post-concussion emotional support, and education related stress. Colette is able to provide in-person appointments, or meet with clients virtually anywhere in Ontario. She is also a member of the PaRx program, encouraging exposure to nature and offering walk and talk therapy sessions at select locations. Whether you're seeking support for personal growth or struggling with specific issues, Colette provides a safe, non-judgemental space where meaningful change can occur.
