Dans ses motsAt the core of my practice is a commitment to compassion and trauma-informed therapeutic approaches designed to validate the complexities of life experiences while acknowledging the broader social systems in which we all operate. My approach centres on creating a safe and supportive environment, enabling clients to examine how life experiences may influence current circumstances and potentially hinder engagement with the things you value most in life. We can acknowledge pain, grief, and coping mechanisms that may no longer serve a positive purpose while celebrating moments of resilience and strength.
As a Registered Social Worker I am experienced supporting individuals navigating government and social frameworks including the Correctional Systems (CSC), Ministry of Children and Families (MCFD), Persons with Disabilities (PWD), Old Age Security (OAS) and other related systems. I am dedicated to providing inclusive, sensitive and affirming support to members of the LGBQT+, Indigenous communities, people new to Canada, as well as those who have encountered interpersonal or systematic violence. My work is grounded in principles of social justice and advocacy while supporting individuals facing challenges related to substance use, mental health, and poverty. My professional background includes both clinical and non-profit settings and I am passionate about helping individuals uncover their inherent resilience and capacity for growth, healing, and to uncover meaningful joyful spaces.
