He is a Registered Counselling Therapist Candidate with 10 years of experience in the counselling field. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Cal State University Fullerton, a Bachelor's of Education Degree from National University, and a Master's Degree in Counselling from Acadia University.
Dan adopts a holistic approach in his counselling practice which involves looking at the connections between emotional well-being, physical health, social interactions, and academic/career spheres to address the needs of each individual. He utilizes a blend of solution-focused therapy and cognitive behavioral techniques to assist clients in identifying and pursuing achievable goals, empowering them to overcome obstacles.
Dan's passion and experience lies in supporting clients who are navigating the complexities of anxiety, depression, trauma, life-transitions, and overall mental well-being. He also possesses extensive experience working with young adults exploring sexuality and gender identity. Dan's goal is to provide each client a safe and supportive space where they can explore their emotions while fostering resilience and emotional growth.
