À propos de Daniel
Dans ses motsDaniel Mills is a Registered Physiotherapist who holds a Masters of Physical Therapy from Queen’s University, following an undergraduate degree in Human Kinetics from the University of Guelph. Daniel’s interest in physiotherapy developed through his own experiences with sports injuries, having played competitive hockey and baseball throughout his youth. These experiences gave him a deep appreciation for the importance of proper care and guidance in recovering from injury and safely returning to the activities we love.
Since completing his Masters, Daniel has focused on treating running-related injuries, driven by his personal experience as a long-distance runner. He understands the frustration these injuries can cause and is passionate about helping both recreational and competitive runners return to their routines and meet their goals. To deepen his expertise, Daniel has completed advanced training in Real Running for Clinicians and Run Coaching for Clinicians, and is certified in Acupuncture and Dry Needling.
In addition to running related injuries, Daniel has experience treating various sport related injuries, common musculoskeletal conditions, nerve pain and irritations, as well as pre- and post-operative conditions. His treatment approach combines manual therapy, patient education, and personalized exercise prescription to help individuals achieve their recovery goals.
Outside the clinic, Daniel can be found on the ice playing hockey, training for his next race, or exploring new restaurants around the city with friends. His philosophy as a physiotherapist is to create a collaborative environment where patients feel informed, empowered, and confident in their recovery, helping them return to their daily activities or sports without limitations.
