About Darcy
Darcy graduated from Yorkville University, completing a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree, with a major in psychology, from MacEwan University. Darcy uses a variety of counselling frameworks such as Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Motivational Interviewing (MI), cognitive-behavioural therapy, mindfulness techniques, solution-focused therapy, and stress-reduction techniques, to name a few. He takes a client-centred approach, honouring the uniqueness of each individual and their intentions in seeking therapy. Insight, awareness, change, recovery, acceptance, trust/vulnerability, regulation, and other constructs of mental health are all part of life’s journey. Darcy is here to help you wherever you are, with your specific goals guiding the process.
In his free-time, Darcy enjoys learning, exploring the outdoors, and sharing a laugh with others. He enjoys participating in various sports, and has been a player, coach, referee, and spectator throughout the years.
