My personal journey in therapy inspired me to be a counsellor myself and help others reach their full potential. Life experiences like living in several cultures, changing careers in my 30s, and navigating relational challenges with partners and family have increased my capacity for empathy and compassion.
Whether you are an individual feeling stuck in some way or a couple looking to improve communication, increase your connection, or resolve conflict, I am here for you. Nothing about your identity, desires, or experiences is “too much” or “not enough” here. Besides working with folks on such challenges as sexual and relational trauma, intimacy and relationship challenges, and life transitions, I also support clients with a variety of sex-related concerns, such as low or decreased desire and desire discrepancy, arousal and orgasm difficulties, unwanted pain during sex, performance anxiety, and self-esteem challenges. The topics of sexual and gender identity, ethical non-monogamy, polyamory, BDSM, kink, fetishes, and others are also safe to explore in session with me.
I approach my clients from a culturally sensitive, trauma-informed, and sex-positive lens. When appropriate, I can offer psychoeducation and practical tools. In our sessions, we can address the impact of difficult experiences from your past and define what healing means to you. Together, we will create a space where your nervous system can soften, where long-silenced parts of you can finally be heard, and where consent, respect, and compassion are valued.
