Dans ses motsDr. David Aboussafy, PhD, C-SAE, R.Psych. is an experienced clinical and rehabilitation psychologist with a practice that focuses on assessment and evidenced-based, functionally focused, treatment of adults.
Dr. Aboussafy has an honours psychology degree from SFU, and earned his PhD in Clinical Psychology from the Faculty of Science at McGill University with internships at the Allan Memorial Institute of Royal Victoria Hospital.
He completed two postdoctoral fellowships, one at Vancouver General Hospital Department of Psychology/Psychiatric Assessment Unit and the other at The University of British Columbia’s Faculty of Medicine. He has been a Registered Psychologist in B.C. since 2001 and has maintained an active private practice since that time. In 2006, he also earned a Certified Substance Abuse Expert designation.
