In their own words
David’s academic foundation began close to home, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in
Biology with a Health Sciences Specialization from Trent University. Driven by his passion for
human biomechanics, he then moved across the Atlantic to complete his Master of Physiotherapy
at St Mary’s University in London, UK.
While in the UK, David gained invaluable hands-on experience through rigorous clinical
placements at world-class London teaching hospitals, including Guy’s, St. Thomas’, and King’s
College. This diverse training allowed him to manage complex cases across musculoskeletal
(MSK), neurological, and respiratory rehabilitation. Since returning to Ontario, he has worked
closely with patients recovering from motor vehicle accidents (MVA), workplace injuries
(WSIB), and everyday athletic setbacks.
He is a firm believer in active rehabilitation. David’s goal is to empower his patients to take
charge of their recovery, combining manual therapy, soft tissue work, and mobilizations with
targeted strengthening and functional exercises. By utilizing evidence-based progressive
overload to rebuild tissue capacity, he helps manage pain, prevent re-injury, and build long-term
physical resilience. Whether you are recovering from surgery, managing chronic pain, or trying
to hit a new personal best, David works side-by-side with you to restore function and confidence.
David practices exactly what he preaches. He is an avid runner and endurance athlete who
successfully completed the Toronto Waterfront Marathon. When he isn't running, you can find
him on the soccer field, in the gym, lost in a good book, or out exploring the community with his
high-energy puppy and beloved running partner, Jupiter.
