About David
David Nguyen, BASc (Hons), RMT is a dedicated Registered Massage Therapist who graduated from Humber Polytechnic. A passionate lifelong learner, David previously earned an Honours Bachelor of Applied Science in Kinesiology and a diploma in Fitness and Health Promotion from the University of Guelph-Humber. This extensive academic background gives him an exceptionally strong foundation in human anatomy, orthopedic clinical assessment, and therapeutic exercise prescription.
As a clinical Milton Massage Therapist, David’s hands-on experience spans a diverse spectrum of patient populations. He has successfully treated high-performance AAA youth hockey athletes, individuals navigating rehabilitation for acquired brain injuries, and older adults focused on maintaining mobility. This background highlights his clinical adaptability and his firm belief in collaborative, multidisciplinary healthcare to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
David specializes in outcome-based therapeutic massage to treat sports injuries, chronic lower back pain, neck and shoulder stiffness, tendonitis, and repetitive strain injuries. His technical toolkit is highly adaptable, utilizing neuromuscular techniques, deep tissue work, connective tissue therapies, joint mobilizations, trigger point release, and cross-friction massage to break down painful scar tissue and restore joint mobility. He continuously expands his skill set through advanced workshops to bring the latest evidence-based recovery methods to his patients.
During his free time, David enjoys staying active with friends, attending live concerts, and playing video games. Committed to supporting the next generation of therapists, he also gives back to his alma mater by offering supplemental tutoring to students in the massage therapy program.
David is driven to help you move better, perform at your best, and achieve your personal wellness goals. He looks forward to seeing you at your next visit at Carriage Square Chiropractic Health Centre. Book your appointment with David today!
