Deanna graduated from Canadian College of Health, Science and Technology in 2004. She has been a Registered Massage Therapist in Ontario for the last 14 years and became Registered in British Columbia in 2012 just after moving to beautiful Vancouver Island. Deanna has spent most of her career in multidisciplinary rehabilitation facilities, working with other health care professionals. During her career she has had the privilege of working with both the Canadian National Men’s and Women’s Rowing and Kayaking teams as well as other International teams of Olympic rowers and athletes.
Deanna is trained in Swedish and sports massage, myofascial and muscle energy techniques, deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy, pregnancy massage, as well as hydrotherapy. She’s passionate about assisting clients as they work towards their goals for health and she believes that this is possible by supporting the body’s innate ability to restore its strength and balance in areas of injury and pain. She considers the effects of postural dysfunction and makes recommendations for awareness and improvements. Deanna offers therapeutic, relaxing and rejuvenating techniques customized to each clients’ needs. She is also interested in treating clients who want to incorporate massage into their self-care regimens for continued Health benefits.
