Please note: Dianna is not yet set up with Medavie Blue Cross, VA, CAF or RCMP for direct billing Having graduated from WCCMT Victoria in 2020, Dianna has found her passion and her calling in Massage Therapy. Her practice is based on the foundation that creating ease, decreasing and/or managing pain, and rebuilding strength can help patients improve their quality of life and continue, or return to, the activities they enjoy. Her solid understanding of biomechanics is influenced by time as a competitive and recreational athlete, a yoga teacher and a career gardener. These experiences give her a unique insight into how your movement patterns might be influencing your tension patterns. Healing is a multi-faceted collaborative approach and as such, there is never a one-size-fits-all treatment. Her treatment approach will blend traditional massage techniques with joint mobilizations, active release, myofascial manipulations, craniosacral techniques, deep tissue massage and homecare, however much each of these may be needed. Craniosacral training through both the Upledger Institute and Linden Utting, and learning from Eryn Price with the Mastectomy Guide, have influenced her treatment style. She plans to learn with Heather Gittens at the Bodhi Tree for Biodynamic Myofascial work in the cervical and thoracic regions in the future, to continue to expand the care she can give her clients. A lover of knowledge and learning and all things active and/or outdoors, outside of work you will find her in the garden, the forest, on the lakes or by the sea, or with her nose in a book. Her passion for the power of massage in healing is immense and is driven by the personal experience of massage therapy having been instrumental in helping regain mobility after injury, and surgery.
