About Della
When we are thinking about starting therapy, we don’t always know what we want, we just know we want change and are curious about our own potential. My approach supports this curiosity and allows us to come together to clarify your goals and navigate how we get there.
My hope is that through our work, you gain deeper self-understanding, confidence in managing distress, and/or align your life more closely with your values. This might include gaining insight into your emotions, strengthening relationships, or letting go of patterns that no longer serve you.
I am a registered social worker with over 12 years of experience in mental health, eating disorders, substance use, trauma, grief and loss. I also recognize my culture and identities may differ from those of my clients, and I strive to create safety through open dialogue about difference, values, and accessibility needs. I am very happy to be working alongside the team at Island Clinical Counselling, and welcome any opportunity to connect to see if we are a good fit.
Outside of the office, I enjoy nature, hiking with my dog, snowboarding, travelling, and exploring in my camper van.
