About Dewar
Dewar Chung is a Registered Acupuncturist and Registered Massage Therapist under the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario and the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. Graduated from John & Jenny Traditional Chinese Medicine College of Toronto, Dewar has been exposed to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) since childhood and as such, fueled his passion for TCM and acupuncture. Highly trained in TCM, he has years of training under TCM grandmasters, Master Lee Chi Wai and Master Shen Ching Jui. He believes that although many things in life may be replaceable, one’s health and well being isn’t one of them.
Dewar utilizes his vast knowledge in TCM and modernized treatment methods, combining both eastern and western techniques into his treatment regimen. He has treated a variety of patients suffering from different health ailments from acute and chronic pain to treating patients with chemotherapy-induced symptoms at an affiliated cancer clinic.
Aside from treating patients, Dewar is a part of the Board of Directors at the International Acupuncture Coalition – which unifies and oversees acupuncturists practicing in Canada, China, Taiwan and Malaysia. In his spare time, he also likes to train in martial arts and participates in various athletic activities.
