Dorcas Wang
À propos de Dorcas
Dans ses motsIn the busyness of life, whether you’re caring for others, navigating a new season, or adjusting to a new place, it’s easy to push emotions aside. Over time, stress, anxiety, and worries can pile up and feel overwhelming. I often describe emotions like a basket of laundry: eventually, they need care and attention. I believe healing happens best in safe, compassionate spaces, grounded in hope and grace.
I work with busy moms, young adults in transition, and immigrants, helping clients build self-awareness, regulate emotions like anxiety, anger, and depression, and strengthen communication and relationships.
I practice psychotherapy with an evidence-based approach, primarily using Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). I also work as a clinical supervisor, supporting and mentoring new and seasoned therapists as they refine clinical skills and navigate complex cases.
