Theoretical Approach Dr. Gupta integrates approaches from evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ExRP), and Mindfulness. In addition, she incorporates concepts from attachment research, evolutionary science, and neuroscience to tailor treatment for her clients. She considers it both a privilege and responsibility to be able to make an impact in someone’s life. Her therapeutic style is collaborative, compassionate, and solution-focused. She likes incorporating humour in therapy when appropriate. Her practice is culturally sensitive and LGBTQ+ affirmative. She provides therapy in both English and Hindi.
