About Alexa
Dr. Alexa Torontow, ND is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor providing naturopathic care with a clinical focus on women’s health across life stages.
Her practice supports a broad range of concerns, with particular emphasis on hormonal health, metabolism, digestion, energy, and stress resilience. She frequently works with women navigating cycle irregularity, PCOS, fertility and preconception, pregnancy and postpartum care, and the transition through perimenopause and menopause.
Dr. Torontow’s approach is evidence-informed, collaborative, and grounded in education. She prioritizes understanding root causes, building strong foundations, and creating realistic, sustainable care plans that evolve with each patient’s needs.
Dr. Torontow earned her Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine and completed her clinical internship at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic, where she trained in fertility and reproductive health. She also holds a Bachelor of Human Kinetics from the University of British Columbia, providing a strong foundation in anatomy, physiology, and movement science.
As both a clinician and a mother of two daughters, Dr. Torontow offers thoughtful, evidence-informed care that supports women’s health decisions with clarity, compassion, and confidence at every stage of life.
Dr. Torontow is a member in good standing with the College of Naturopathic Doctors of Alberta (CNDA) and the Alberta Association of Naturopathic Doctors (AAND).
