Dr. Amber Bridges, Dr. Acu, D.T.C.M., RMT
Dr. Amber Bridges is a skilled and compassionate healthcare professional, specializing in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Acupuncture. She graduated from the Canadian Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine with a double major in TCM and Acupuncture, earning her credentials as a Registered Doctor of Acupuncture in 2023.
Her journey into the world of healing began in her teenage years when she personally experienced pain and injuries. Seeking treatment from a massage therapist, she was inspired by the positive results and the profound impact that therapy had on her recovery. This experience sparked her passion for becoming a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT), a title she has held since 1997. Over the years, Dr. Bridges has developed a strong focus on medical massage therapy, with a particular interest in treating chronic pain, injuries, and the recovery process.
Dr. Bridges' therapeutic approach is rooted in a deep belief in the power of Traditional Chinese Medicine and its ability to treat a variety of health concerns. Her areas of expertise include treating chronic pain, injuries, anxiety, depression, and women’s health issues such as infertility, perimenopause, and menopause. She utilizes a wide range of techniques, including acupuncture, cupping, ear seeds, electroacupuncture, gua sha, and Chinese Medicine diet therapy to provide holistic care for her patients.
Her interest in women’s health has become particularly prominent in recent years, as she seeks to help women navigate the challenges of reproductive health and hormonal changes. Dr. Bridges is dedicated to providing comprehensive, individualized treatments that address the physical, emotional, and mental aspects of her patients’ well-being.
In her spare time, Dr. Bridges enjoys the simplicity and peace of nature. She loves hiking, camping, and spending quality time with her dog, family, and friends, finding balance and rejuvenation in the great outdoors.
With a profound commitment to holistic health and healing, Dr. Bridges continues to work tirelessly to improve the quality of life for her patients, empowering them to achieve wellness through natural, effective therapies.
