Dr. Brandy Strelec has celebrated over 20+ years in practice in Muskoka and is the clinic owner and operator. She has always had a passion for health, which led her to focus on assisting patients in their achievement of optimal health by assessing their physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects of health, while addressing the underlying core health concerns. She develops individualized treatment plans and educates patients about their health while motivating them to take an active role in their own health care.
As a licensed and registered Naturopathic Doctor, Dr. Strelec utilizes her strong background in Nutrition, Acupuncture & Traditional Chinese Medicine, Lifestyle counseling, Botanical Medicine, Homeopathy and Physical Medicine to assist her patients in attaining their treatment goals. She has a wealth of experience in dealing with hormone imbalances and digestive disorders. She has special interests in women’s health, chronic stress and fatigue related issues, digestive health, heart disease, diabetes, pain management, fertility, and integrative cancer support. Brandy has also designed specific programs dealing with weight management, detoxification, healthy aging and stress reduction. She has additional certification IV therapy, offering treatments in our comfortable IV suites. Brandy also brings her experience as a Bowen practitioner to add options for additional, individualized care for pain management.
Educational Studies
Dr. Brandy Strelec received her undergraduate degree from McMaster University majoring in Biology and Psychology. Dr. Brandy completed a four year graduate degree at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto where she graduated with Honours as a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine. She was also awarded the prestigious President’s Award which recognizes a graduate exemplifying missionary work and professional courage, who is entrepreneurial, and a visionary. Dr. Strelec is a member of the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors, the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors, and is registered and licensed with the Board of Directors of Drugless Therapy – Naturopathy. She is additionally licensed as a certified intravenous therapy Naturopathic Doctor.
Community Involvement
Brandy was an active volunteer as a Rotarian with the Rotary Club of Huntsville for 20 years, where she served as President in 2015 and was awarded the Rotarian of the Year in 2014. Through Rotary, Brandy engaged both locally with various events and committees, as well as globally with international projects in Nepal and Zambia. Enliven Center for Cancer Care was another grassroots not-for-profit community organization where she acted as a founding director of the board. In recognition of Brandy’s commitment to Muskoka, she was nominated for the women of distinction award.
