In 2015, Dr. Arthur received the Award of Excellence by the British Columbia Chiropractic Association.
Dr. Arthur obtained his Bachelor of Science in 1979 from the University of Saskatchewan and his Doctor of Chiropractic in 1983 from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, Toronto. Additionally, he trained as an External Resident in the Department of Orthopaedics at the Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon, 1984-85, where he received 18 months of extra training under an internationally renowned spine surgeon, one of 40 Chiropractors in Canada, out of 7000, to have received training.
In 2009, he completed a Master of Science in Epidemiology at the University of London, UK. Since 2010, he has been a Research Associate at the International Collaboration on Repair Discoveries (ICORD) at the University of British Columbia and a Non-Medical Allied Staff Member of Vancouver General Hospital, Department of Orthopaedics, Division of Spine.
He is Past-President (2000-2003) and a Director of the British Columbia Chiropractic Association from 1996 to 2005.
