About Carley
Welcome.
My approach is to meet you exactly as you are — all the beauty, all the experiences, all the rough edges — and work with you to uncover meaningful outcomes through therapy. In our time together, I’ll listen deeply, support you, hold space, ask questions that spark insight, help you connect with both your head and your heart, and cheer you on every step of the way.
Early in my career, I worked with children from diverse and often exceptional backgrounds. From there, I transitioned into social science research, grounding myself in neuroscience, cognitive psychology, and developmental science. I’ve always been drawn to insight — those transformative “aha” moments — and how they shape the ways we think, act, and engage with the world.
Today, I continue to support clients in creating space for their own meaningful insights, while also helping them navigate the day-to-day rhythms of life, with all its highs and lows.
In addition to clinical work, I’ve spent several years in policy and the nonprofit sector. This experience gives me a broader lens on the systems — community, culture, education, health, the natural world — that shape our lives. I bring that systems-awareness into therapy, offering context and perspective where it feels relevant and supportive.
I aim to create a warm, nurturing space where you can explore life’s transitions, reconnect with your inner resilience, and rediscover joy. My approach is collaborative and client-centered, grounded in self-regulation therapy and complemented by expressive modalities.
I’m especially passionate about supporting:
People navigating life transitions or feeling “stuck.”
Adults dealing with stress, anxiety, depression, or burnout.
Neurodivergent individuals (especially ASD and ADHD) managing anxiety and depression.
