Dr. Carmen is a chiropractor dedicated to supporting women through pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond. With specialized training in prenatal and postnatal care, she brings an evidence-based, whole-body approach to helping moms move, heal, and feel like themselves again.
She is one of the first providers in Durham Region with advanced training in C-section scar therapy, having helped hundreds of women recover from the physical consequences and challenges that can follow a surgical birth. Dr. Carmen also provides infant oral bodywork, offering gentle pre- and post-tongue-tie release care to support feeding, comfort, and optimal function for babies.
As a faculty instructor at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, she is committed to advancing clinical excellence and educating future practitioners. Dr. Carmen is also actively involved in the Durham community, often invited as a keynote speaker and educator at local events, workshops, and wellness initiatives.
Her clinical expertise—combined with her lived experience as a mom—allows her to deliver care that is informed, compassionate, and deeply supportive.
