Dans ses motsDr. Christen Schutt was born and raised in Sudbury, Ontario. She was introduced to chiropractic while pursuing her BA in Community Health at Brock University. She began working as a chiropractic assistant during her summer holidays and fell in love with the chiropractic profession.
Upon completion of her undergraduate studies at Brock University she attended Palmer Chiropractic College in Port Orange, Florida. Dr. Schutt returned to the Niagara Region to begin her practice and opened Modern Health Chiropractic in September 2016 following two years of practice in the area.
Dr. Schutt is a mom of two, who values the importance of keeping our kids healthy and teaching them about wellness at a young age. She is extremely passionate about protecting the next generation of kids from all of the illnesses we see today and loves helping families heal, prevent dis-ease and grow together. This starts with preconception care, through pregnancy and providing a foundation for kids to thrive with pediatric care and beyond.
Dr. Schutt helps her patients to achieve health and wellness through addressing the root cause of the problem: dysfunction of the nervous system. She uses several techniques in practice including Gonstead, Diversified, Thompson, Webster, Applied Kinesiology, Pettibon and Kinesiotape. She is also certified in the PIPS (Pediatric Intraoral Palate Specific) Technique for babies and infants. Dr. Schutt incorporates nutrition, supplementation, physical activity and stress reduction in her practice to address specific needs and goals for each patient. With a holistic approach to care and a great team offering complimentary services patients are able to achieve optimal results and achieve new health heights.

Wow ! What an experience… I have never felt more comfortable and fully informed. Of course my son being 1.5 and not being around many people had a hard time adjusting, but Dr. christen was absolutely amazing. Her knowledge, focus, and calmness during the whole process was wonderful. I can’t wait for further appointments. And I couldn’t be happier I chose this clinic. Super clean, and very kid friendly. Dr. Christen is; knowledgeable, kind and genuinely cares about how her patients feel. She’s great with kids and have made my children feel at ease during their adjustments. Modern Health Chiropractic & Wellness is a clean and welcoming office.

Dr. Christen is amazing at what she does! She is patient, takes the time to explain everything and answer any lingering questions and takes a holistic approach with her patients health. I took my son there because her website mentioned that she does paediatric care and I was so impressed with the care she showed my son that I am now a patient as well. The office is clean and well run. Office staff is friendly and efficient. Dr. Christen is an excellent Chiropractor, I have been with her for over 5 years and the treatment I've had from her has been life-changing. Dr Christen is great! She listens to you and is always open to try different ways to make you feel better! I started my adjustments about 2-3 years ago and continued throughout my pregnancy and after. I even bring my 3 month old son for adjustments. Alexis is super helpful too and always has a smile on her face when you walk in. I have been going to Dr.christen for almost a year now and am very pleased of the results this far! My spine is much more aligned properly and my posture improved a ton. Dr.Christen is always so friendly and helpful, and cares about your overall wellbeing. She takes the time to discuss your health problems and what you want to achieve.
