About Christian

Dr. Christian Guenette is a holistic chiropractor with over ten years of education in the field of human health and wellness -- with a BSc (Physiology Mjr) from McGill University, and a chiropractic degree from CMCC in Toronto. To address as many conditions as he can, Dr. Guenette combines Chiropractic with techniques such as Trigenics, CranioSacral Therapy, and stress management using his certification in Life Coaching. Everything he does is designed to effectively relieve your pain and suffering, and to bring you back to an optimum state of health. Dr. Guenette stresses the role that the individual can have with respect to their own health and healing. As such, he sees his role as a 'teacher' in addition to a 'healer'. His techniques are really quite miraculous at balancing the body when the patient is in his office, but he knows the effects will be temporary unless they are equipped with the tools to stay balanced. This is the reason he has devoted so much of his life to learning the latest and greatest in the fields of mind-body medicine and Positive Psychology. Many of his patients comment on how priceless it is to them when they receive helpful life-coaching tips during their treatments! Dr. Guenette is also an established writer and educator: He has published countless articles in national journals relating to various aspects of health and wellness. Plus, in January 2013, alongside another local author (Gillian Laura Roberts), he released an inspiring collection of 52 original stories from helpers and healers around the World – called The Thought That Changed My Life Forever – and it quickly became an Amazon #1 Best-Seller! Patients come from all over the Greater Vancouver area to his Kitsilano clinic in order to experience first-hand the wide range of modalities he uses to help them get well.

I had an outstanding experience with Dr. Christian Guenette at Back2Health Penticton. He is not only an incredibly knowledgeable chiropractor, but also a genuinely caring and holistic practitioner who takes the time to understand the root of what’s going on, not just the symptoms. I've struggled with knee issues and I decided to visit Dr. Guenette after hearing only excellent things about him. And I was not in any way disappointed! Coming into our appointment I had pain bending my knee, as in going down the stairs. After 10 minutes of what felt like wizardry (in the most positive sense), the pain had mostly disappeared after testing again. After 2 years of dealing with the knee issue, this was a huge WHOAH! moment. Highly knowledgeable, great listener and has a true interest in addressing local issues with bone/muscle/joint as well as the mental limitations that such issues can create. Dr. Guenette has been an absolute blessing. I have been dealing with chronic SI joint pain from an old injury for over a year and a half. Over this timeframe, I have seen numerous different health care practitioners and yet nothing seemed to be yielding results. As a young, healthy individual this became extremely disheartening. Dr. Guenette's unique focus on the mind/body connection is what drew me in for my first session. I went in with an open mind and heart and can say with certainty that his unique approach has done wonders for me. After a few treatments, I am so relieved to say that I am finally seeing lasting results in my recovery.
