Dr Corinne Roughsedge graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a specialty in sports injuries. She then went on to study Chiropractic at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto and has been practicing for over 20 years. Dr Corinne works with people in all stages of life in her general family practice, but has a special interest in pregnancy care: for enhancing wellness, for easing the inevitable aches and pains, assisting with fetal mal-positioning and in-utero constraint. Regular chiropractic care during pregnancy creates the best environment for an easier, faster labour and birth with less trauma for mother and baby and lessens the need for medical intervention. Another focus of Dr. Corinne’s is pediatric care and she has helped many babies and children with breast feeding problems, tongue and lip ties, colic, low tone, plagiocephaly (flat head), developmental delays, constipation and bedwetting to name a few. Dr Corinne has always had an interest in gentle techniques and has a collection of safe and effective tools in her toolbox. She is a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association and the International Consortium of Ankyloglossia (tongue tie) Professionals. She utilizes a combination of chiropractic techniques such as Activator, Network Care, SOT, cranial release, dry needling, cupping, Webster Breech Turning, Thompson (drop piece) and gentle manual techniques to optimize the functioning of the nervous system, relieve aches and pains, help people deal with stress more effectively and to assist her patients in achieving optimal wellness. Dr Corinne was born and raised in Toronto, lived and practiced 20 years in Queensland, Australia and has now returned with her husband and 2 children to re-establish herself in Ontario. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking and walking her dog.
