Dans ses motsDr. Kim is a registered acupuncture doctor in Alberta & Ontario and an international doctor of acupuncture. After majoring in science at the oldest university in Korea, Sungkyunkwan, he completed 6-year training with the best academic performance at the historic national university of TCM in China, Henan Traditional Chinese Medicine, which produced numerous famous doctors. Various clinical experiences for 15 years, as well as understanding the patient's pain, and sincerity to treat each and every moment with his best, people say, are his greatest characteristics.
Through a harmonious approach to oriental and western medicine, he helps treat diverse pains in musculoskeletal like spine, joint or muscle, as well as various medical concerns such as stress, anxiety, headache, insomnia, depression, obesity, facial nerve paralysis, knee arthritis, gastrointestinal, dysmenorrhea, sequelae of stroke, plantar fasciitis and so on. His gentle healing style focuses on the holistic balance of the body system and mind together, and these treatments are familiar to all ages. His treatment method may include acupuncture, cupping, auricular therapy, acupressure, moxibustion, herbal medicine prescriptions and health consultations acquired in Korea and China, which are the basis of oriental medicine.
Blockage of the blood & Qi circulation in body and mind cause pain with inflammation basically. His Oriental medicine treatment helps to release stagnation of body and mind promoting circulation of Qi and blood. Even if we do not have any specific diseases, we can experience recovery of our body and mind through his treatment.
He likes to go hiking in the forest and enjoys sports such as swimming, baseball and tennis when he is not in a clinic. He doesn't forget to go to church with his two daughters on Sundays.
