Dr. Deepak Singh only provides Psychological Assessments
Dr. Singh is a Registered Psychologist who brings warmth, empathy, and cross-cultural sensitivity to his work with children, youth, families, and adults. He completed his Ph.D. and Master’s in School and Clinical Child Psychology at the University of Alberta, and has trained and worked across Canada in clinical and school-based settings.
Dr. Singh has extensive experience in both assessment and therapy. He provides comprehensive
psycho-educational and mental health assessments for a wide range of concerns, including but not limited to learning difficulties, ADHD, giftedness, and social-emotional/behavioural challenges. He also offers therapy using evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy,
Interpersonal Therapy, attachment-focused, play-based, and mindfulness-based strategies. His
flexible and collaborative style allows him to connect with individuals in meaningful ways, including youth who may be hesitant to engage in therapy.
Dr. Singh has worked with diverse and vulnerable populations, including those impacted by addictions, domestic violence, grief and loss, and gender-affirming care. He values strong relationships with parents, caregivers, and teachers, and emphasizes the role of trust, resilience, and healthy attachment in supporting positive change.
Outside of work, Dr. Singh enjoys hiking in the mountains, travelling, photography, playing basketball, and spending time with his wife and their dog, Goose. He is proficient in English, Punjabi, and Hindi.
