Considered as one of the top acupuncture instructors in the country, Dr. Lee received his certificate of clinical training in acupuncture and Chinese herbs from the Zhe Jiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Hangzhou, China in 2002. At the same year, Dr. Lee graduated from the Alberta College of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine as the top student of his class and became a registered acupuncturist in Alberta.
Dr. Lee received a Master of Science degree from the University of Alberta, majoring in the field of Cell Biology in 2000. During his time in graduate school he was the first author on a publication in the Journal of Biological Chemistry. Dr.Lee also holds an Honored Bachelor of Science degree specializing in Biology and Genetics from the University of Western Ontario (1996).
From 1993 to 1997, Dr.Lee was actively involved in Biomedical research projects at the Institute of Biomedical Sciences, Academia Sinica in Taiwan. Dr. Lee has been teaching both western science and acupuncture courses at the Alberta College of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine for nine years. He also has a private clinical practice at the Inner Balance Spa in Kensington. Dr.Lee has been an honorary guest speaker for the Medical School program at the University of Calgary, the Integrated Health Institute at Mount Royal University and the Alberta Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine Doctors (AATCMD). He has also made numerous appearances in televised news reports and printed media across Canada.
Dr.Lee is a strong proponent in preventative medicine and considers the mind to be the most powerful entity in the universe. He believes that Traditional Chinese Medicine theory combined with quantum science can unlock the mysteries of human bodies.
