Dans ses motsDr. Henry Ong, Doctor of Naturopathy (ND), studied and practiced conventional medicine in Australia for 5 years as a Rural General Practitioner; he was also an Anesthesiologist in the Philippines for 8 years. When he emigrated to Canada with his family, he worked for 5 years with a Canadian medical doctor who practiced both conventional and alternative medicine. Realizing the benefit of these two exceptional forms of medicine, he decided to study Naturopathy at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto and became a Registered Naturopathic Doctor. He believes that applying the strengths of both Conventional and Naturopathic medicine will enable patients to fully achieve their optimum health.
He has experienced seeing patients with different types of conditions in outpatient, emergency, and in fast-paced settings. With his combined knowledge of conventional and naturopathic medicine, he analyzes the root cause of a problem and applies a variety of tools such as nutritional advice, lifestyle counselling, herbal medicine, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Acupuncture, and manual therapy.
In his spare time, he likes to go cycling, reading, and spending time with his family.
