Dr. Ishani Patel, ND is a board-certified Naturopathic Doctor by the College of Naturopaths of
Ontario.
She graduated from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in 2022, where
she obtained her 4 year Doctor of Naturopathy Degree and completed a 1-year internship at the
Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic, and externship at Women360 Care.
Through clinical and personal experiences, Dr. Ishani has taken a clinical interest in women’s health, fertility, family care, endometriosis, hormonal imbalances, gastrointestinal health, fibromyalgia, and
autoimmune-related concerns.
Prior to her naturopathic studies, Dr. Ishani obtained her undergraduate degree from Trent
University in Honours Biology specializing in Health Sciences. She spent her earlier years working in rehabilitation clinics developing a greater understanding of the benefits of physical
medicine, exercise, manipulations, and ultrasound therapy for pain relief.
She gained valuable insight into how naturopathic modalities, such as physical medicine and nutrition could make an impact on maintaining sustainable health and wellness.
Dr. Ishani’s journey to naturopathic medicine started when she was in her 20’s when she was
dealing with hormonal imbalances. Just from implementing lifestyle modifications, she began to
understand the impact simple changes to one’s lifestyle could have. She has always believed
that with commitment, education, and encouragement, the body can repair itself back to a state of health and wellness. She utilizes a combination of traditional medicine with evidence based medicine, to put all the puzzle pieces together and determine the root cause.
Her goal is to work with her patients collaboratively to create a personalized treatment plan,
identify the root cause, and prevent disease. She understands her role in actively listening to
her patients, looking at all aspects of her patient's health, and ordering appropriate lab tests to
determine why her patients are feeling the way they are feeling. Ultimately, she is dedicated to
assisting her patients in achieving their health goals, establishing a long-term plan for wellness,
and helping them feel like their best selves!
Beyond her naturopathic practice, Dr. Ishani enjoys spending time with her family and friends,
going on hikes, and going on food adventures in Toronto.
