Dans ses motsDr. Jacob McDonald was born and raised in Calgary, and his passion for health and wellness began in his youth, playing football. It was through this sport that he first became fascinated by the performance and movement of the human body. His personal experiences with injuries and the rehabilitation process inspired him to pursue a career in Chiropractic to help others on their journey to recovery.
Dr. Jacob earned a degree in Human Kinetics from the University of Guelph, where he also minored in Nutrition and Nutraceutical Sciences. As a member of the varsity football team, he balanced the demands of being a full-time student and athlete, earning recognition as a three-time OUA Academic All-Canadian (2018–2020) for his commitment to both academics and sports.
In 2021, Dr. Jacob was accepted into the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) in Toronto. There, he embraced the collaborative environment and served as the student representative for the class of 2025 on the Students’ Council from 2022-2025, voicing class concerns and contributing to improvements in student life. While at CMCC Dr. Jacob participated in University Health Network seminars on concussions, where he discussed and presented clinical cases amongst other health care providers with the goal of expanding his knowledge of mild traumatic brain injuries. He is also certified in Functional Integrated Acupuncture.
With a strong background in athletics, he has a particular interest in injury prevention and rehabilitation. Above all, Dr. Jacob is committed to providing patient-centered care, getting to know each person individually, and helping them achieve their health goals.
